Hello My ladies & My Gentlemen,
How are you? The autumn is here & we will have more time to spend under the blankets. The season of coziness is coming over.
Time flies. I remember when we began this summer I was sitting in a place in the city & I was cheering a glass of spritz for a good season. Obviously, now we have already written 92 days of that a bit rainy but still beautiful time of the year.
As the result, everyone has collected some memories, I guess. So, as coming back to that place where many of the spritzes were shared: Un Mercato Copenhagen has always been one perfect corner.
Firstly, it is really easy to spot, as is is located in a vibrant food market “Torverhallerne“. Usually I spend some time going around the place & shopping a bit or just simply enjoying the surroundings. There is always something so magical about that food space & all the people hanging out & trying the dishes, grabbing the coffees & walking around. As the result, very often I end up having some salad or fries at Un Mercato. They never disappoint.
Secondly, as so many of those light summer nights have been calling us out, here we could always find a spot to share a glass of that well known summer spritz. The vibrant atmosphere of the food market, simplicity of servings & quick service have always made us feel comfortable & relaxed. If you ask me this is what real good experience is about.
Finally, the food… well I am a fan of those fries (omg I have tried many fries around the town recently) for a really good price & the tapped wine of Un Mercato is always enjoyable. Plus, you should try either their basil or truffle mayo. Basic delicious treat! Can not add more!
So, to summarize this little post. If once in a while you want to enjoy Copenhagen at its best with some simple, Italian comfort food, put Un Mercato on your to do list. It is a spot full of good vibes & food. Besides that, they have a big space upstairs which becomes very cozy with all the lights when the dark autumn & winter evenings come back.
We might meet there one day!
With Love From Vero
