Ladies & Gentlemen,
how often do you get that feeling when you want to go places & experience something new? Obviously, I have it pretty often as I want to see & taste different parts & things in the world.
It is always nice to have a getaway when you can change scenery & use your time in a different space. Consequently, we go online & try to find inspiration, we try to look for best flight deals & most inspiring places to see.
Furthermore, that feeling of planning & starting looking forward to something new is always amazing. Isn´t it? I usually start checking the restaurant lists & cozy coffee spots of different places so I am able to have an idea of what is going to happen. I guess that we all tend to do it once in a while. Then we can just grab a bag & go to a wanderlust journey.
Nevertheless, besides all the talking here about how lovely travelling is, sometimes you do not actually have to go far to explore the beauty of some things. Last time I tried to look around me I jumped on a train from Copenhagen to Malmo & I need to say that I had a very good day of my life.
So, after long random city walks exploring cozy food spots, which I talked about on my earlier blog post, we actually had a special to do list. As the result Escama Gastrobar Malmo was our choice for the evening. As we started our early evening at the place we finished it with a lot of good tasteful memories.
Firstly, as we had made our reservation in advance we already had a lovely table ready for us to be seated. We were kindly asked for what we wanted to drink & the menus came very fast. Just by reading all the choices of the food I was starting to get excited – it sounded delicious & interesting!
Secondly, we made our order & it sounded really long. But do not worry as it was the concept of serving small dishes so we could try a lot. Consequently, when we started getting our food I was simply amazed by the gorgeous servings & different combinations of those simple ingredients. From my starters to the main I was really impressed by all the deliciousness. As the result I found my favorite dish: their avocado tartar was something to go back for again.
Finally, the service was really friendly, helpful & detail oriented. I need to remind that it was fully packed & everyone got the attention their needed with a really big smile. Plus the wine suggestions were well spotted to our taste & fitted perfectly with our meals.
So if you are thinking about a little getaway, sometimes you do not need to go far in order to experience something awesome. This time grab the address for your next Malmo trip: FERSENSVÄG 4, MALMÖ or look for more info here.
I promise that you will not get disappointed & remember sometimes the best things are just around the corner.
